Biography

Dr. Andrew R. Timming is Professor of Management in the College of Business at Alfaisal University, located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. He has spent most of his academic career in the United Kingdom and Australia and is now happily settled in the Middle East. An organizational psychologist, Professor Timming researches and teaches in the areas of the social psychology of work and employment and human resource management. He has also dabbled a bit in evolutionary psychology.

 

Professor Timming has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles, many appearing in top international journals such as Human Resource Management, Human Relations, and the Industrial and Labor Relations Review, among others. He is perhaps best known for his pioneering work on tattoos in the context of work and employment.

 

Professor Timming is currently writing his third book, Woke Nonsense, which provides a much-needed critique of the spread of critical theory and postmodernism in the West and beyond. His other two books are Applied Statistics and Human Resource Management and Evolutionary Psychology.
